The Taste of Revere 2013 will be held on Monday, November 18th, from 6pm – 10 PM at the Casa Lucia, 61 Lucia Avenue, Revere, MA.

The "Taste" is the signature fund raising event of the CASTLES organization. The event showcases the talents and diversity of area restaurants, captures the generosity of businesses and individuals, and raises scholarship funds for Revere students. The event was first held in 2007 and continues to grow in success each year. Fund raising from the event benefits local students via the CASTLES organization. CASTLES is responsible for complete organization of the event including securing the venue, vendors and sponsors. This is a very active Committee with a large task at hand and Members are encouraged to volunteer.

CASTLES - Caring Alumni Supporting the Learning and Enrichment of Students- is a non-profit organization of volunteer Revere alumni who are committed to enriching the future of the diverse youth in our neighborhoods. Toward that goal, CASTLES works with community organizations to provide scholarship aid to enable at-risk youth to participate in after-school and summer programs.  Since its inception, CASTLES has raised over $250,000 in scholarships impacting over 200 Revere students.

Join us in sampling signatures dishes, tantalizing desserts, delicious and diverse offerings from the top participating local restaurants and businesses. In addition to the wonderful food stations there will be music, raffles and a silent auction. The ticket price is tax deductible: $30- in advance; $35- at the door, $25- quantity of 10 or more - 100% of the ticket donation benefits afterschool and summer program scholarships for the children of Revere.
